An impressive follow-up to the band's debut disc, "Soundtracks For Living," "Simply Faboo" is, well, simply faboo. Devoid of kitsch but rather totally expressive in their own innate grooviness, the Gentle People are duly captured in total psychedelic frolic and making some very heavenly dance tracks. Employing blue-bossas, rich tapestries of synthesized bubblegum muzak and shimmering pop rhythms, these visionary peaceniks are speaking out to a whole new generation of party people. A treasure of a collection, "Simply Faboo" is comprised of well-constructed and aurally seductive electro-lounge sounds that allows for both chill-out meditations and body move mentality.
