In Our Fashion
Chicago's style comes to life with Fashion Focus

Jennifer Berg

The Scoop: Only two years old--but already sophisticated and chic--Fashion Focus Chicago waves the city's style flag for twelve glamorous days. Starting on September 20 and lasting through October 1, the twelve-day fashion fanfare invites guests to participate in fashion shows, shopping events, industry seminars and more. In our own, Newcity-style tribute to fashion in the city, we've chosen this week to launch our latest, greatest Boutiqueville. Our biggest-yet guide to independent Chicago boutiques delivers the low-down on more than a hundred fashion-focused stores. Come help us celebrate this special issue and the start of Fashion Focus at our Future of Chicago Fashion Party, September 21 at Y Bar, starting at 8pm. For free admission before 10pm, RSVP at newcity.com.
