Brian Hieggelke

Already well-established as a producer favored by the titans of dance music in Europe--the likes of Oakenfold, Tiesto and Sasha--James Holden's been stirring it up a fair bit lately as a DJ as well. I caught a bit of his set at Vision this summer and it was enough to know he's one to watch closely, as he took over the decks and blew up the dancefloor with seeming ease. Others have noticed as well: the classically trained musician leapt 40 slots in DJ Magazine's seminal Top 100 DJ list this year to #36. Paired with last weekend's Eddie Halliwell set, this marks a unique opportunity to check out two of the top new DJs emerging on the UK scene.
